so what i’m doing is leaving blogger. and i’m now going to be using my flickr as a blog uploading things often.

ROBOT WORKS
This guy builds robots out of old junk he finds in places. Each one’s over $1000. They’re beautifully made though. I’m doing this at the moment but not as well, and it’s to develop my drawings.
ROBOT HEAD
At the moment i’m working on a book, based loosely on the first chapter of Ted Hughes’ The Iron Man. This is a sketch of the robots head.
MILKY CAT
I designed this to sit along the bottom of my emails, as a signature.
so if any of you lovely people are unlucky enough to get an email from me this chappy will be at the bottom
BUILD ME
This started out as doodle of cubes. playing with depth, trying to make the closer ones look closer. it worked well although i think it lacks the character of some of my other drawings, too neat.
Batman
lately i've grown a small obsession with batman. what i want to do now is get an old batman comic and re-illustrate it.
working alone
This is an illustration on the difficulty of creating and developing ideas alone. Although this is how i prefer to work, it would be good to collaborate, it may help push ideas further, and push me to work harder. but i have never found someone that i think i could work with well.

hav been meaning to draw this for a while, the lyric is from the kinks song Phenomenal cat from the album village green preservation society.
when i set out to do this image i wanted to make the cat truly PHENOMENAL, if i drew a regular sized cat sat in a tree, like cats do quite often, whats phenomenal about that? nothing.
so i made the cat huge and sit in the tree like an armchair

i was inspired to draw this after i got my student loan, i wanted to spend this money on something, so i walked around town for ages lookin for somethin fun to buy. but eventually i realized that i already had plenty, so i thought why not do something different with what ive already got, which is what i did with this drawing.

I will investigate and visualize how listening to music has changed with time and technology.

I'm starting a new brief, which we have to write our selves. the basic idea of mine is how we listen to music, and how its changed over time, with technology, or maybe how different people listen to music and how it differs with the type of music.

hmm, maybe i should say something about myself. well i'm 19 year old graphic design/illustration student. my work is mainly hand-drawn/made, not that i don't love computers, ive got a macbook!
well here's some of my workings.

in this drawing i just wanted to merge 2 styles of drawing.
